What Is City Walk At Universal Orlando Resort?

Where to Stay

When you are planning to stay a few days in Orlando and take advantage of all that CityWalk has to offer, it’s a good idea to stay on-premises at Universal. The hotels provide you with transportation so that you can enjoy liquid libations without getting behind the wheel, too. Another benefit to some of the on-site hotels is that you get the Universal Express Unlimited Pass for the rides of Universal at no additional cost.

Cabana Bay Beach Resort

This hotel has a winding lazy river, massive pools, as well as a bowling alley on-premises.

Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Important Things to Know

There is no cost for visiting CityWalk. However, if you want to go to the theme parks as well, you will need to purchase tickets separately. You can purchase a one-park pass which will give you access to either Universal Studios or Islands of adventure. You can also choose to buy a park pass that will allow you to go back-and-forth between the parks in a single day. A to park pass will also let you take advantage of the Hogwarts Express train that goes between the two parks.

Parking at Universal Studios varies. You can choose standard parking for $20 per car per day. If, however, you arrive after 7 PM, the cost of parking is free.

Other Things to Do at CityWalk

While you’re at CityWalk, there are a few other things you may want to check out besides the theme parks, the restaurants, and the bars.

Blue Man Group is an invasion of the senses with live music from three blue men. Tickets can be bought in advance here and you may want to pay extra for the splash zone where ponchos are highly suggested!

Hollywood Drive-In Golf is highly interactive. The course is visible the moment you step into CityWalk. You can choose to play 18 or 36 holes.

AMC Universal Cineplex 20 features IMAX and is where you can catch all of the latest Hollywood blockbusters.

Various concerts and special events will take place throughout CityWalk and Universal Orlando. You may want to check out concerts at Hard Rock as well as the special events at Universal, including Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights.
