Eiffel Tower restaurant at the Paris Resort is among the finest dining experiences in Las Vegas and should not be missed. Romantic, and panache – casual elegance – may best describe the ambiance; cuisine reaches unparalleled levels; views of Lake “Bellagio” and dancing water shows 11 stories below are spectacular, and service is near flawless.
Eiffel Tower, of Chicago’s Lettuce Entertain You Enterprise, is the creation of one of the world’s acclaimed award-winning culinary talents, French Chef Jean Joho. Whether you select from the 5-course prix fixe or a la carte menu Joho’s personalized touch result in preparation and presentation with excellence in creativity, flavors, and textures. His other award-winning restaurants include Everest in Chicago and Brasserie Jo’s in Chicago and Boston.
During a recent visit, we could not resist tasting each other’s dishes. Our Epicurean guest stated, “this is the most fascinating dining experience in my life.” Appetizers that tantalize the palate include an outstanding Foie Gras and Sautéed Escargot, and the fine Caviar sampler, 000 Beluga, Osetra, and Sevruga, accompanied by fine Champagne is an excellent choice. Entree selections include fresh Filet of Atlantic Salmon, wonderful Sautéed John Dory, and outstanding Whole Dover Sole, each served with its’ own unique sauce. Meat aficionados will savor flavorful and delicate Roasted Rack of Lamb, Tournedos Rossini topped with Foie Gras, and Sautéed Veal Medallions, while the Duck a l’ Orange tops the list of fowl.
Don’t miss the Eiffel Tower dessert, a symphony of chocolate including a beautiful white chocolate replica of the ”tower”, or the outstanding and fluffy Grand Marnier Soufflé. An extensive fine wine list is available from which we chose an excellent Chardonnay and Merlot especially bottled for the restaurant by the Georges Duboeuf winery in France.
The romantic cocktail lounge/bar offers the same breathtaking view and features soft piano music nightly. This is my favorite spot to enjoy drinks pre-dinner, after-dinner, or any time in between. Bartender/mixologist Kerry Wald served us with precision. General Manager Lyle Tolhurst, Captain Yann Bousseau, Chef Joung Sohn, Supervisor Perry Fuselier, and staff aptly fulfill the high standards set by Chef/Proprietaire J. Joho.
