Bastrop State Park

Bastrop State Park, about 30 minutes southeast of Austin, is located in the famous “Lost Pines” area of central Texas. The hill starts and descends to a valley creek that is surrounded by green vegetation. The forest is dense due to the creek and offers complete privacy to hikers. Big Bend National Park
Mountain, Desert, and River are all included at Big Bend, the only national park with a border crossing and the only national park in Texas. This is dry countryside and the Big Bend stretches to around 11 miles. This twisted landscape is from the High Chisos Mountains to the South Rim escarpment that allows you to walk uninterrupted. Hueco Tanks State Park – El Paso
