Disney Genie, Genie+ & Lightning Lane

Disney Genie is a virtual assistant that helps Disney fans plan their vacation to Walt Disney World. It can help you find the best deals on flights, hotels, and tickets, as well as provide personalized recommendations for attractions and restaurants. It also provides up-to-date information about park hours and wait times.

Genie & Lightning Lane is a partnership between Disney Genie and Lyft that offers discounted rides to the parks. Customers can book a car with their mobile device or through the Genie app, and then use their MagicBand to pay for the ride when they arrive at the park. This service is currently available in Orlando, Florida.

Both Disney Genie and Genie & Lightning Lane are great tools for planning your next trip to Walt Disney World. They make it easy to save money on transportation costs and ensure you get the most out of your visit by providing personalized recommendations for attractions and restaurants.

Disney Genie

This complimentary service is built into the My Disney Experience mobile app and will maximize your park time. Disney Genie service includes a personalized itinerary feature that will quickly and perfectly map out an entire day.

Here are a few more features:

Disney Genie allows for more flexibility. It will continue to update your itinerary throughout the day so you can go with the flow, be more spontaneous, and enjoy your day.

Guests can create their own personal tip board to see all their favorites. Disney Genie will display current and even forecast future wait times. This will help you predict when the best time is to experience attractions.

Disney Genie brings existing planning features such as joining a virtual queue at certain attractions, making dining reservations, and mobile ordering food together in one place.

Disney Genie+

Guests can take their day to the next level by purchasing Disney Genie+ service. Disney Genie+ allows Guests to select arrival windows for Lightning Lane entrances that are available at more than 40 attractions and entertainment across the 4 theme parks. Guests will be able to choose one at a time throughout the day. Disney Genie+ service will be available for $15 per Guest per day.

Guests will have two ways to purchase;

Before Your Visit: Disney Genie+ service will be available as an add-on to a ticket or vacation package for the duration of your visit.

Same day of Visit: For those who do not want to purchase for the duration of their visit, will be able to choose single-day use. Guests will purchase via Disney Genie service in the My Disney Experience mobile app, starting at 12 am on the day of your visit.

Once you have purchased Genie+ service, you can book an arrival window for your first experience using the My Disney Experience mobile app, starting at 7 AM on the day of your visit. After you use your first selection, you will be able to make another selection using the app, up to park closing.

Individual Attraction Selections

Some of the most highly demanded attractions will offer Lightning Lane entry as an “a la carte” purchase in the My Disney Experience mobile app. This option will be available for all Guests-with or without Disney Genie+ service and lets you choose a time to arrive at up to 2 attractions each day (booked one at a time).

Pricing and availability will vary by date, attraction, and park. Guests can check their My Disney Experience app on the day of their visit for current prices and attraction availability. Currently, the price ranges from $7-$15 per attraction.

Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or other select hotels can make their first selection starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit.

All other Guests can make their first selection when the park opens.
